Strength shows itself when it transcends what you do in the gym. The strength you earn through your training is something that should enrich all other areas of your life and the lives of the people who are important to you. Strength training can also protect your joints from injury. Building muscle also can contribute to better balance, may reduce your risk of falls, and increases your metabolism  Building muscular strength allows the muscles and tendons to absorb more of the forces involved when you land during each step, running stride, or jump.

Stretching your body to become more supple and flexible offers many physical benefits. Such training allows for easier and deeper movements while building strength and stability. Stretching your muscles and joints also leads to greater range of motion, improved balance, and increased flexibility which enables your muscles to work most effectively. Flexibility decreases your risk of injuries.
